well a wateen engineer came to my home to fix my frequency issues he brought a usb with him and since i use Linux as my operating system he couldnt understand how to use it so i copied evrything in his usb and this file was in it?

My outdoor CPE was unable to connect to base station/AP in G-11, Islamabad in the morning. Not sure, if the issue has been resolved by now. Did anyone experience the similar problem?

well guys wht upload speed u guys getting while uploading a file on any file sharing site..i only get 15k max upload speed if i try to upload a file on rapidshare in 512K Internet Package...With 3 Signals So Guys Pls Reply What Speed You Get?

Bilal to get full 512k upload speed you need to have full signals (5 bars). I was having same issue (slow browsing as well and just 40kbps upload speed) when i had CPE indoor (with 3-4 signals). One day i moved my CPE to roof just to see if it makes any difference and not only did i get full signals but my browsing improved dramatically (no more having to refresh a page 3 times to get it to load) & down/up speed became full - now i get full 512k down and 530k up speed as you can see below.

I would like to clear this thingie that Wateen is not limiting bandwidth by "MAC" its via your username and password,

So dont worry about your limits, just go through "Wateenxxx@wateen.net" and Jump into downloads...

2nd thing i would like to tell that download the XLS file provided up and go for your admin password of CPE, then log in as Admin and connect to your desired AP.

third thing is.... that wateen's price came down at Rs.14999 rather then 17999.....

so chill and have some toufees !

How You Know This ? If Anybody Use Wateenxxx@wateen.com login And Wateen Detect That It Has Been Used By The Mac Address Of User Who Uses...And Are You Using Any login Starting With Wateen? I Have Try But No Working Login...

Use a Cardboard box (Getay ka daba) cover it with plastic or something to protect it from water/rain. CPE will be able to breath through the cardboard and u can easily make cuts in it & make ears for antennas to get out.

I got my connection today. I am getting 4 signals and this speed.

I have to give 11 cheques in the morning. Can i cancel my cheques anytime if i do not want to use it in future?

Thanks for replying bro but if i will terminate their service and return the CPE to them, then can i cancel my cheques? If i will not use their service then why should i pay?

Yes, then you can cancel your checks legally.I am returning my cousin connection tomorrow and he will also cancel checks.
