I know that I can open account in foreign banks when I visit that country, even on visit visa.

But is there any bank in USA (or UK or other countries in which PayPal allow withdrawal to bank account) that can open account even without visiting that country? Create bank account over-the-internet? And allow accessing account over-the-internet and let transfer money to Pakistani banks over-the-internet? smile

AFAIK, it's not possible, but still maybe...?

By the way, does PayPal allow to receive money on Credit Card (Debit Card) issued from USA?

No. Legally the banks are not allowed to do that. But there was a loophole in the legal system where broker accounts were being issued by some bank; the bank has been dissolved now, I believe. It was a tedious procedure where it took months to get your account. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the bank anymore.

Re: Using paypal in pakistan

get payoner or moneybookers i am using MB for 2nd year now and its awesome !
paypal sucks...i have heared that Pakistani bank system got a good rank in International rankings but without that they r not offering paypal here in pakistan..

Reason:

About 95% of Pakistani bank accounts dont have IBAN only international accounts have where as in other countries every account have that number so i think that might be the reason....

I feel so low as compare to 190 markets. It shows how low value of us being a Pakistani that 190 markets are better than us.

Our so much "progressed" in telecommunication can't even convince PayPal and other companies to have an officer, heck even correspond, or do business in Pakistan.

I feel like I am in Ethiopia or Somalia. Maybe we are equal to them. We don't deserve PayPal or other international financial institutes. Our lives deserve to run after Atta and Daal.

I see the simple reason is that that traffic from Pakistan is of no worth i mean we are only gonna watch dozens of youtube vidoes eat there gigs of bandwidth but would anyone of us visit there text ads and actually buy something? I dont think so. If i were youtube i would completely ban the list of countries from where i dont see any advertising revenues. This isnt about discrimination its pure business smile

Re: Using paypal in pakistan

I found a way to make a fake verified PayPal account
I found it on a website but haven't tried it

#1. Make a account with fake information from whitepages.com with a proxy server

#2. To get verified, instead of a credit card use a gift card
To get free gift card use www.scour.com

You will have a verified PayPal

Problem is not creating PayPal account. Problem is, how to get money out of PayPal account?

What's the purpose of PayPal account if you can't receive money?

By the way, you can spend money using Credit Card.

No
This will not work

I have tried it and move-funds.com's paypal account is suspended for a long time so the website is still there but it does not work.

Re: Using paypal in pakistan

Ok
I have discovered a method which is very simple and you can now withdraw funds from your paypal easily through it.

Whoever needs it just email me your yahoo (highly preferred) or msn or gtalk to
me through the email function in this forum so I can know your username.

Thanks

Re: Using paypal in pakistan

I created a PayPal account providing a random US address, etc. I received a payment in that too. But I can't make a transaction using that money in my PayPal account. Since the account is unverified and limited. Is there a solution?

Re: Using paypal in pakistan

Guys get over with it - PayPal is not an option for PK - besides i have Debit cards too working in PK cz. I have US Bank accounts, CC # etc.. which makes me a verified buyer. Even then sometimes my account gets warnings of IP Addresses when my brother opens it up in LHR.

Re: Using paypal in pakistan

So I tried to add my VISA debit card to my PayPal. It linked the card, but there's something about a 4-digit code that will confirm he card. It's supposed to be on my statement. But I found nothing. What's that about?

Re: Using paypal in pakistan

If you made an account with fake info. then I suggest that not to add your visa card as they will have your details and can take action against you
