Does anybody know about Media Plus communication's Digital TV transmission. Number of channels, packages ,price and the way to get it .Thanks

I think they did not yet launched its digital tv transmission. so there is no question about its channels, packages and price

yes they are running digital channels nearly 50 + free to air not scrambled means it would work with any dvb-c stb available in the market
i will update there parameters later today to tune in the digital channels

yes one can unless one can find it in market. i mean local market you can get one from abroad.

1) MPC from mushariq center
2) KCS from Hydri north nazimabad
3) WORLDCALL from zamzama
4) GIA from gulshan iqbal
5) SOLO from defence
6) MAX COM from PIB colony
7) Sharjah cable from kharadar

MPC = offering 3 frequency approximate 25 channels + - as of today

freq = 841.25 / 849.25 / 857.25
symbol rate = 6875
qam = 64 qam

KCS = offering 5 frequency approximate 45 channels +- as of today

freq = 826 / 834 / 842 / 850 / 858
symbol rate = 6875
qam = 256 qam


GIA = offering 3 frequency

freq = 823.25 / 831.25 / 839.25
symbol rate = 6875
qam = 128 qam

^ as they are being broadcasted in digital format through QAM modulation as normal analog tv cannot view this signals you need a SET TOP BOX SD MPEG 2 DVB-C
SET TOP BOX with PVR and CAS function will cost 4500 rupees approximately good quality 1 year guarantee
since nun of them have implemented CAS in there system so you can view it free monthly
until unless they activate the CAS then you have to pay monthly to view the channels

Which channels are currently included? HBO and other premium channels included or not?

no you dont need any dish to receive the channels as its been broadcasted by cable operators through cable

CAS = conditional access system through this system cable operators generates revenue and control the subscribers if the subscriber dont pay monthly payment they can switch off the channels or the whole STB
it depends everything on cable operators what channels they are offering to there subscribers
as per reliable resources some porno stuff are been offered on digital channels from most of the cable operators
