I have got 1 Mbps package. I get quite good download speed (i-e between 0.8 and 0.9 mbps) but when it comes to upload speed, it's pathetic and between 0.2 mbps and 0.5 mbps. It never goes up no matter if it is peak time or not. Nature of my work is that I rely heavily on uploading (unlike common perception of our ISPs that internet is only for watching & downloading videos and games). Is there any way I can have almost equal upload speed as download speed?

If not wi-tribe, is there any broadband provider in Rawalpindi/Islamabad that can give me same upload & download speeds?

No any other connection will give equal upload speed. But you may try evo as it gives better consistent upload speed than download speed and it is 1 mbps.

Your upload speed is fine. You never get same upload speed as download speed, if you want more upload speed, upgrade your connection. PTCL 4mbps connection gives 1mb upload, get that or higher.

Many people told me to but wi-tribe but after getting 1mbps unlimited.. i am feeling that wi-tribe is among slowest wimax company
very slow upload and download speed, it was good in karachi but now its worst
