My brother just bought a new notebook from the Pavilion G6 series. The machine isn't picking up his dedicated graphics cards, an AMD Radeon. We tried the HP website for support, which we didn't find and we've tried a bunch of graphics drivers but the problem still remains. The HP Support Assistant's video check gave the failure ID: QAGBTW-60D625-MFPX01-Q0GF03.
He has Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit) and Aero effects don't work. In that case, the computer tells him to get a WDDM-compatible driver. Where from?

Didn't they provide you with drivers DVD? Try correct version that is 64 bit graphics driver for Windows 7 64 bit. Check the model No. of card in specifications and download latest drivers from here: http://support.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDSupportHub.aspx
