Well, a few years back (I guess in 2005, 2006) I got two $1000 projects each from rent a coder (now called v worker). Rather than doing those projects myself I gave it to my friend i.e. I further outsourced it and that was one of the worst decisions

Both projects were never completed by my friend as he couldn't give it time and he just gave me topi after topi. One of the client was a very nice guy and he patiently waited for about 3 months before giving up and took his money back. But he was a gentleman enough not give me any negative rating.

The other client was not so gentleman :P and gave me below average rating (not his fault though)

well last year, our team was supposed to give a tight demo to multi national company......
now we made damn sure day and night to make it perfect....
next day our Team lead takes the EAR file and loads it on the application server....
he tests it and loaded opening screen ONLY!!
....now at clients place when he runs it...only opening screen was working but others NANNA!!
....why!! cuz he forgot to change the iP we were using to localhost at OUR config file.......
....the client was really pissed and we were like "Should we laugh or drop dead Solid snake style"......
