Well, this only means one thing: LDN's downstream bandwidth is - well - plagued.

I've never seen such download/upload results. Ever! lol.

yup i have two lines at home 1 copper and one fiber, on fiber i have ptcl on copper i have LDN , so enjoying both . and i observed one thing which is quite shocking too .

on PTCL yout get very good download speed very nominal variation , where as slow browsing speed, whereas on LDN , there is variation in download speed but there is significant difference in browsing if i compare LDN with PTCL.. LDN has good browsing speed but not good download speeds. vice versa for PTCL

The browsing issue on PTCL is because of their gateway issue using caches.

Try getting an IP in the 116.x.x.x pool in PTCL - that should fix the browsing issue.

The only two ways I've figured (assuming your modem's page doesn't have a "disconnect" button programmed in it's interface):

1) pull out the telephone wire and put it back in the jack (fastest and quickest)
2) turn off the modem, then turn it on (the on/off switch on the modem, not the LAN wire).

There's really no other way. Whenever you get a 203.x.x.x based IP address, this issue happens (although it's improved quite a bit recently)

Do not stand, sit, climb or lean on zoo fences. If you fall animals could eat you and that might make them sick. Thank you

LoL Certainly not ;)

0.15 kbps x 1024 kbps = 153.6kbps

Its actually much better than dial up but not good for a person paying for 512kbps.
